A full-size bucket takes up half the boot. This one folds flat to about 5 cm, so it lives in the car and comes out for a wash, a camping trip or rinsing sandy feet at the beach. Pull the rim up and it locks into a rigid bucket that holds its shape when full.

The thick silicone walls don't crack like the thin plastic folding buckets, and the moulded handle is comfortable to carry at 10 litres.

Why drivers love it

• Folds flat – about 5 cm tall when collapsed, slides under a seat
• Thick silicone – stands up on its own, no flopping when half full
• Three sizes – 5L for rinsing, 10L for a wash bucket, 17L for the two-bucket method
• Rigid rim and handle – reinforced plastic, easy to carry
• Multi-use – car wash, camping, fishing, gardening, pets

How to use it

1. Pull the rim up until the walls click straight
2. Fill, use, empty
3. Press the base down to collapse, rinse and store
